DFormA - McCall

Before launching Studio SJ in 2018, founder S. Jazmine Fugate worked for over a decade at the offices of other architects.  While at DFormA as a Senior Architect and Project Manager from 2015-2018, she focused on bespoke retail, industrial, and public spaces and developed a passion for adaptive reuse.

DFormA designed this wine production and board meeting space in Cutchogue on the North Fork of Long Island.  The inspiration was the idea of a “barn on a hill” and one of the owner’s collection of original restored barns was to be the centerpiece on the green roof of this subterranean elliptical facility.  Fugate led the project from design development through bidding.
